The BBC have recently produced a documentary called 'We are England',  which explores innovative music therapy which is helping families to live with Dementia and create new memories. They follow a couple as they prepare for a group holiday to Llandudno. 'Music Workshop of the Year' Awards

Drums4Fun CIC are extremely proud to announce that we have now become quadruple winners of the 'Music Workshop of the Year' at the South West England Prestige Awards for 2020-21,2021-22, 2022/23 and 2023/24.


We are truly overwhelmed and extremely humbled to receive these awards. So very many thanks go to my late wife Jeanette, my late father Christopher Kemp, my fellow Directors and all the wonderful Drums4Fun volunteers, all without whom these awards would not have been possible.

CORNWALL MEMORY CAFE NETWORK

Drums4Fun CIC are proud to be working regularly with a variety of Memory Cafes who are part of the Cornwall Network. To date we have provided sessions for over 30 Memory Cafes in Cornwall. 

These sessions are for groups of people who are living with Alzheimer's, Dementia or memory loss, and are proving to be extremely popular and successful. Use of songs from way back in the past, including many songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's etc., resonate well with the Cafe members, enhancing the uplifting of spirits and mood and filling the room with enjoyment and laughter.
